This English translation preserves the original article\u2019s historical context.<\/em><\/small><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wikafi to the rescue of Dalcq\u2019s websites<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The partnership between digital agency Wikafi and the Dalcq group began in late 2020. The goal was clear: stabilise and modernise the Belgian appliance specialist\u2019s online stores and website. Wikafi looks back at this multifaceted collaboration.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wikafi is no newcomer. The full-service digital agency traces its roots to the 2015 takeover of IT company Systemat\u2019s web department by Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Sillen, Joseph Thirionet and Olivier Noel de Burlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With expertise in web development, e-commerce, design, hosting and full-service digital communication, the company quickly established a strong reputation, working with respected names including bpost, Securitas, Euresa, Safran Group and SPIE. \u201cWe are a full-service agency that places particular emphasis on the availability of our teams and long-term partnerships. We have clients we have worked with for 15 years on projects that keep evolving,\u201d explains Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Sillen, the company\u2019s co-founder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Operation \u201ceShop rescue\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When Dalcq approached Wikafi in late 2020, the request was specific: analyse, stabilise and thoroughly review its e-commerce platforms. Ageing and full of inconsistencies, they were experiencing significant instability. \u201cWord of mouth and our strong client references played an important role in bringing us together,\u201d the agency\u2019s co-founder acknowledges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe had to take over the entire development process, including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.frifri.be\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.frifri.be<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.frifri-shop.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.frifri-shop.fr<\/a>, which had been built by a third-party provider. The work covered hosting, domain management, HTTPS certificates, statistical reports and maintenance, through to a complete redesign of the platforms.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The recovery operation was a success. The Belgian appliance brand\u2019s online stores improved their overall performance, and the agency became Dalcq\u2019s principal web partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAlongside better performance and clear growth in online sales, the technical support staff no longer have to deal with the countless complaints caused by technical problems across the different platforms,\u201d sums up Olivier Noel de Burlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Proud to work with a leading Belgian brand!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOur collaboration began in October 2020 with the redesign of the group website, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dalcq.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.dalcq.com<\/a>. Once we had fixed the bugs and stabilised the architecture, we continued during 2021 with the development of two more brand platforms using WordPress and WooCommerce for the online store components: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dejelin.be\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.dejelin.be<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mill-norvege.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.mill-norvege.fr<\/a>,\u201d explains the Wikafi agency manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The latest project at the time of publication was the completion and launch in early May of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theblender.be\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.theblender.be<\/a>, a platform selling premium kitchen appliances, with an improved user experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The experience and expertise of Wikafi\u2019s specialists made the difference. \u201cWe are proud to work with a wholly Belgian brand that has
